clothes
So much to say. I need to pace myself.

I have spent years as a clothing consultant and have been in hundreds of closets. This is true: EVERYONE thinks they have nothing and/or nothing great to wear AND everyone I have ever worked with has lived in fear that I was going to make them throw out everything they owned. (Never happened.)
We choose what we wear for a reason, and we ignore the other things in our closet for a reason. If you go to your closet and pick an outfit that makes you feel great (ok, I’ll settle for good) when you wear it, and really look at it with an objective eye, it will give you good information. Look at the color. The proportion of the pieces for your body. The overall fit. The fabric, the details. All these things will give you clues to what works for you and what doesn’t. If you are wondering what I’ve been smoking in the shower, stay tuned, more to come on this and other subjects.
Tip: If shopping in a consignment store PLEASE smell the armpits (as distasteful as it is) on what you are considering buying. Nothing worse than someone else’s BO stinking up your look.
